You’re waking at 2 to 3am, running on coffee and willpower, and your body no longer feels like yours.

You suspect perimenopause is behind the anxiety, brain fog and weight gain. But nobody has joined the dots properly or given you a clear plan.

That’s exactly what this session is for.

What you will walk away with

Clarity on what’s actually going on

We’ll join the dots between your symptoms, sleep, mood, energy, weight, gut and your hormones, blood sugar, stress and gut health.

You’ll understand why you feel the way you do, so it stops feeling like it’s all in your head.

A focused 4-week plan that feels doable

  • 2 to 3 priorities for the next month, for example: protein at breakfast, an evening wind-down, fibre for gut and hormone support.

  • Simple meal and snack ideas that suit your real, busy life - school runs, work, caring responsibilities and all.

  • Gentle micro-habit ideas that work with your nervous system, not against it. Tiny shifts that still move the needle on how you feel.

Personalised guidance on your next steps

  • We’ll look at where nutrition and lifestyle can help alongside any medication or HRT, not instead of it.

  • You’ll know whether you’d benefit most from trying your 4-week plan independently, following up with my Foundations programme, or going back to your GP with clearer questions.

  • We'll also look at sleep, stress and the emotional side of your relationship with food, because for most women, these matter just as much as what is on their plate

  • You’ll leave with less noise in your head and more confidence about what to do next.

What happens in the session?

Before your call

You complete a short intake form about your symptoms, medical history, current diet, any medication or HRT and your lifestyle, so we can make the most of our time together.

During your 60-minute Zoom session

We start with you - what’s changed, what you’ve already tried, and what matters most to you right now.

Then we look at what’s actually driving your symptoms, in plain English, no jargon.

Then we build your plan together - 4 to 5 changes that feel genuinely doable for your life.

You can ask questions at any point. This hour is all about you.

Why work with me?

I’m Catherine Scott, Registered Nutritional Therapist (mBANT, rCNHC), specialising in perimenopause, gut health and energy.

I’m 48, a busy midlife mum, and I’m navigating perimenopause myself. Which means I’m not speaking from a textbook. I’m speaking from real life experience.

I know how hard it is to put yourself first when everyone needs something from you. And I know how life-changing it is when you finally feel more rested and more like yourself again and how that ripples out to your work, relationships and family.

My approach is friendly, practical and micro-habit based. No detoxes, no strict plans, just small shifts that fit into your real, messy life and still make a meaningful difference.

Before retraining in nutrition, I spent 15 years in corporate marketing so I understand the pressure of juggling work, family and a body that’s not cooperating.

You bring your lived experience. I bring the physiology, the nutrition and the micro-habits. We build a plan together so you can start feeling better without burning out.

FAQs

Do I need a perimenopause diagnosis first?

1

No. Many clients come to me because they’re not sure if what they’re feeling is perimenopause. We’ll look at your symptoms and history together, and if needed I’ll suggest questions to take to your GP.

How is this different from seeing my GP?

2

Your GP is brilliant for diagnosis and prescribing. I work alongside that, looking at how nutrition, blood sugar, gut health, stress and sleep are contributing to how you feel day to day and what practical changes could help. Most of my clients find the two approaches complement each other really well.

Will you change my medication or HRT?

3

No. I don’t prescribe medication or change doses. I work alongside your GP or consultant to support you with nutrition and lifestyle. Any supplement suggestions will always take your current medication into account.

What if I have other conditions too (thyroid, IBS, etc.)?

4

That’s very common. We’ll consider the whole picture and prioritise what will make the biggest difference without aggravating anything else.
